At last night’s RTM committee meeting on the P&Z 8–24 decision, P&Z chair Paul Lebowitz mentioned the state DOT property behind the Walgreens store on the Post Road as a possible location for our town maintenance facility. 

I am forwarding documentation on that property. Please examine the aerial view,

which shows 1.4 acres being transferred to the town of Westport.

Good Morning Mr. Lowenstein,

Thank you for your time on the phone on 5/24/2024.  To rehash, Connecticut Department of Transportation is currently in the 90% review period of the design phase for our new Westport Maintenance facility. The new facility is needed because the existing 1950's facility is functionally obsolete. I have attached the 90% site plan and the current construction schedule. I also included an original site plan with an aerial underlay.
